001Program name and description

The text-message program is called Outcomiva Outcome Briefs (the "Program"). It is operated by Outcomiva, a brand of The Nelson M Group LLC. If you opt in, we send recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you provided with educational clinical trial details, confirmations and service messages, and (only if you separately agree) promotional announcements about new guides and resources.

Outcomiva is not a medical provider, research sponsor, study site, or recruiter. Whether to take part in any research is always your own decision, made with your doctor.

002How to opt in

You can join by completing the form on our Get Started or SMS Notifications page and checking one or both of the separate, unchecked consent boxes: (1) informational texts, and (2) promotional texts. You can also text START to 888-372-0152 to join. We then send a confirmation text saying you’re enrolled in Outcomiva Outcome Briefs. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to use the Services or to buy anything. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

003Types of messages and examples

• Informational: confirmation of your request, educational clinical trial information, reminders about topics you asked about, and service notices.
• Promotional: announcements about new guides, checklists, and Outcomiva news (only if you opted in to promotional texts).

We never ask you to reply with diagnoses, medical records, test results, or other health data by text.

004Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the topics you chose and the guides we publish. Most subscribers receive no more than about 8 messages per month. You may receive additional messages when you reply to us or request data.

005Costs

The Program is free from Outcomiva, but message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details.

006How to opt out (STOP)

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message (you may also use STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT). We will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and send no further messages unless you opt in again. Replying STOP ends your enrollment in Outcomiva Outcome Briefs, which covers both informational and promotional texts if you opted in to both. You can also email us at [email protected].

008Opting back in

If you stopped messages and want to rejoin, reply START to a previous Outcomiva message or complete the opt-in form again.

009Supported carriers and carrier disclaimer

The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and many regional carriers. Carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is under effective transmission from your carrier and your device's capabilities and coverage. Outcomiva does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time. The Program is for U.S. numbers only.

010Privacy and mobile information

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information with service providers (such as our SMS platform and carriers) solely to deliver the messages and operate the Program. See our Privacy Policy.

011Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you offer and are authorized to consent to messages on it. Please tell us if your number updates. Text messages are not encrypted, so please do not include confidential personal or account information in replies.

012Limitation of liability and disputes

The disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions (among them arbitration and class-action waiver) in our Terms & Conditions apply to the Program. To the extent permitted by law, Outcomiva, The Nelson M Group LLC, and our service providers are not liable for any delay, failure, or misdelivery of messages, or for any damages resulting from messages sent in accordance with your consent.

013Changes to these SMS Terms

We may modify these SMS Terms. We will post updates with a new "Last updated" date, and where required we will request your renewed consent.
